Pallant Medical Chambers

As a chambers we are committed to clinical governance. We are aware that freelance GPs can become isolated and miss out on the clinical support and feedback of their peers; avoiding this was the real motivation for setting up the chambers.

We have an internal chambers meeting on alternate months at one of our houses, where we share clinical experiences, discuss significant events, and provide mutual support.

We also arrange a bi-monthly consultant speaker meeting that is open to all Sessional GPs in the area - you can find out more about these from our blog.

Revalidation Toolkit

We have a members' only area called our 'cupboard' complete with a bespoke toolkit designed for Pallanteetrs. This includes several dozen electronic forms and templates for them each to use during their consultations or from home.

It's got all the usual Multi Source Feedback forms from practices that the doctor has worked for, referral feedback, patient feedback, significant events - you name it, we've thought of it.

Audit

And we have an audit lead partner who oversees our chambers' programme of audit.
