Dr Fieldhouse qualified as a doctor in 1989 from St George’s Hospital Medical School, London. After working in hospital medicine in Chichester, Surrey and Western Australia he trained as a GP in Felpham, Bognor Regis. He has been a fully qualified GP since 1994, having worked as a Freelance GP in the Chichester and Portsmouth area since then.

His medical interests include asthma and mental health.

Dr Fieldhouse has two teenage boys, and his outside interests include running, cycling, aikido, reading and playing guitar.
