Dr Munro gained a 1st class honours degree in Medical Microbiology before graduating from Dundee University Medical School in 1998. Dr Munro then worked in South East England in a variety of hospital specialties including psychiatry, general medicine, geriatrics, rehabilitation medicine, accident and emergency, women’s health and palliative care. Dr Munro completed her GP training in 2005 and first combined work as a salaried GP in Crawley with palliative care, before, in 2007 becoming a freelance GP.

Dr Munro’s medical interests include palliative care, mental health care, management of drug misuse, minor surgery and medico-legal issues.

Dr Munro is married to a French teacher and enjoys spending any spare time that she has with family and friends, reading literature, running and swimming.
