Dr Anika Hinze graduated from Technische Universitat Medical School, Munich in 2003. Dr Hinze worked in paediatrics before she decided to move to Scotland to gain experience working in another country. In 2006 Dr Hinze moved to Jersey where she developed a special interest and gained qualifications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr Hinze worked in Edinburgh and then Manchester as a GP trainee before qualifying in 2008 and later that year she moved to Portsmouth.

Dr Hinze’s medical interests include minor surgery, family planning and obstetrics and gynaecology.

Dr Hinze is engaged to another doctor and in their spare time they enjoy hiking, camping, cycling and kayaking. Dr Hinze has travelled extensively in the UK and also likes reading and gardening.
