Dr Chris Smith

Dr Chris Smith qualified from Cardiff University in 2000 and then worked in A & E in Bournemouth. Dr Smith then moved to Portsmouth where he worked in General Medicine for 3 years before qualifying as a GP in 2008. During this time Dr Smith also gained additional experience in ENT and Ophthalmology. In 2005 Dr Smith spent time working for Medecins Sans Frontieres in Internally Displaced Peoples camps in Uganda. Dr Smith has recently been working in Cambodia on a health project and since his return has worked as a freelance GP in the Hampshire area.

Dr Smith’s main medical interests are Adult Medicine and Family Planning and he is studying part time for an MSc in Public Health in Developing Countries.

In his spare time Dr Smith enjoys participating in a variety of sports including running and sailing.
