Pallant Medical Chambers

Patients >

A GP locum (or Freelance GP) is a fully qualified GP standing in for your usual GP.

Pallant Medical Freelance GPs are all fully qualified GPs. Each new member must have:

  • completed their membership examination for the MRCGP (Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners).
  • been successfully interviewed by at least two clinical directors from Pallant Medical Chambers
  • had two excellent references.

In addition, all members

  • attend regular chambers meetings to discuss issues and learn from each other
  • undergo regular feedback from practices and patients
  • provide a laminated GP Profile for you to read about them when you attend

We organise regular teaching meetings for our members from hospital specialists to keep us up-to-date with the latest developments. All our members have access to as much information as possible about the services that each practice can provide to ensure your visit is as productive as possible.

Our member will be wearing a name badge and have a proper doorplate on their consulting room door when you go to see him or her.
