Clinical Sessions Schedule

For NHS GP Practices from 29th March 2010. All bookings are made subject to Pallant Medical Chambers booking guidelines.

A	2 hour surgery am or pm start**	Up to 12 patients* Dictation, necessary paperwork or other work as required by the practice up to a maximum of 2.5 hours	Please contact us for rates or log into practice managers area
B	Surgery am or pm start**	Up to 12 patients* followed by 20 minute refreshment/’catch-up’ break plus either Up to six patients* or Up to 2 routine visits*** Dictation, necessary paperwork or other work as required by the practice up to a maximum of 4 hours	Please contact us for rates or log into practice managers area
C	on-call surgery on call from 8am surgery from 9am to 1pm or from 2pm to 6.30pm	Up to 12 patients* followed by 20 minute refreshment/’catch-up’ break Plus up to 2 Emergency visits Dictation, necessary paperwork or other work as required by the practice up to a maximum of 4.5 hours	Please contact us for rates or log into practice managers area

Enhanced Access Cover:

Evenings:

AAe	90 minute Surgery 6.30pm start	Up to 9 patients* Dictation, necessary paperwork or other work as required by the practice up to a maximum of 2 hours	Please contact us for rates or log into practice managers area

Please note that, for travel reasons, these sessions will normally be held after an afternoon surgery booked at the same practice.

Saturdays:

AAs	90 minute Surgery 9am start	Up to 9 patients* Dictation, necessary paperwork or other work as required by the practice up to a maximum of 2 hours	Please contact us for rates or log into practice managers area
As	2 hour Surgery 9am start	Up to 12 patients* Dictation, necessary paperwork or other work as required by the practice up to a maximum of 2.5 hours	Please contact us for rates or log into practice managers area
Bs	Surgery 9am start	Up to 12 patients* followed by 20 minute refreshment/’catch-up’ break plus Up to six patients* Dictation, necessary paperwork or other work as required by the practice up to a maximum of 3.5 hours	Please contact us for rates or log into practice managers area

If different start times are needed please specify these in the initial request
*All patient appointments are 10 minutes (a 20min appointment is needed if a translation service is required).
** Please specify if visits are required in the initial request.

Special notes for On Call sessions

If requested in the initial request, cover from 8am to 9am (or 1 pm to 2pm for afternoon surgeries) is available
for on call sessions at no additional cost, however there will be a charge for call outs in this time of £40 per
half hour.
For visits or other additional work beyond 6.30pm, we will charge an additional £40 per half hour.

Special Notes for enhanced access

The Pallant Medical Chambers office is open 08.00 – 18.00 weekdays only – please provide a contact number
in case the doctor needs to contact the practice outside these hours.
