I trained at Manchester University and continued with foundation training in the area, and completed the GP training scheme in Salford and Trafford. After qualification I became a salaried doctor at a practice in Leeds and worked as a locum with the Yorkshire Medical Chambers for the last 9 years. I am now pursuing my career down south, along with raising two children, due to my husband's role as a consultant surgeon.
My specialties are Women's health, Medical Law and Medical Education, having completed DRCOG, PGCE in workplace based medical education and a BSc in Medicine, Law and Ethics.
I enjoy cycling and walking, anything that involves being out in the fresh air, no matter what the temperature, and ideally with some sunshine. I enjoy spending time exploring the countryside with my family, and taking time to read daily.
