MBBS, MRCGP
I qualified as a GP in February, 2023, and I have 9 years of clinical experience. Since I graduated as a doctor in 2014, I have been actively involved in clinical practice. During my general practice training, I rotated through Psychiatry, Obs and Gynae, and Learning disability specialties which equipped me with sound knowledge and skills required for managing mental health and women’s health conditions. Following my CCT in February 2023, I worked as a salaried GP until June. Since then I have been working as a locum GP in practices, as well as in out-of-hours settings. My special interest areas are Menopause medicine and Dermatology and I am exploring my options of developing further qualifications and training in these areas . Mental health is another area of my keen interest and I am proficient in managing mental health conditions given my interest in this area and previous experience in Psychiatry. I adore spending time with my family, traveling and trying out a variety of cuisines. I spend my spare time by trying to maintain my fitness, reading books, doing charity activities and listening to music.

After initially training in Cardiology up to ST5 level, I made the switch to GP and it has been the best decision I have ever made! I have a wide range of experience in many specialities, including locuming as a Rheumatology registrar, Respiratory registrar, amongst many others. I really enjoy working in General Practice and being able to use a holistic approach on a background of my past clinical experiences to benefit patients. I really enjoy working in women's health and also paediatric based care. I am currently doing my coil and implant training having completed the DFSRH recently. The main thing for me though, is how eclectic and broad General Practice is. I am a keen tennis player and horse ride regularly. I also go to an evening art club once a week, and relax by playing the piano.

After graduating from UCL in 2010, I completed my foundation years in the West Midlands. I then became a Psychiatry SHO, achieving my Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry. I did my GP training in Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells, becoming a GP trainee representative, and participated in the Clinical leadership in Commissioning. After completing my Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry, I developed a special interest in mental health. I also became a member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians. For the future, I am interested in developing my experience of skin diseases. In my spare time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors and developing my photography skills. I also enjoy going to the cinema, keeping fit at the gym, trying to do DIY, cooking and spending time with my family.

I trained at Southampton University. I spent several years in hospital medicine working in ophthalmology and obstetrics and gynaecology. I am a founding member of the community ophthalmology team in West Kent, and I work for West Kent Dermatology. I'm interested in new and emerging technologies.
