In addition to being an accredited in Gastroenterology, Dr Abeysekera has a specialist interest in liver disease, and was appointed as the first Clinical Lecturer in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Bristol. Dr Beale’s practice focuses primarily on treating patients with inflammatory bowel disease and IBS, and she is the endoscopy training lead for the BRI’s gastroenterology unit. Between them, they will deliver an interactive session covering:
- Steatotic liver disease: What to look out for and when to refer
- A comprehensive update on luminal gastroenterology
This in-person event will take place at the Hospital and is free to attend. Attendees will receive CPD credit, and a hot buffet dinner will be served. The presentation itself will begin at 7:30 PM. Full details can be found in the attached invitation.
